Adam Zanzucchi graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Design from the School of Architecture at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He found a home in 2018 at MegaphonePHX, a shared studio space for emerging artists. Adam developed his work, moving to larger canvases and showing in group settings around the greater Phoenix area for 6+ years. STATEMENT

My works in painting, collaging, and drawing emphasize distorted ideas of society and what we choose to value. There is often satire involved in my work, along with looking introspectively into human emotions and the tensions found living in the modern world. Simple elements of architecture and construction methods are integrated throughout this work, such as wooden fencing and brick masonry. These unique structures form perspective and highlight the significance of divided space. I enjoy exaggerated ideas of form, scale, and setting inspired by my love for skateboarding, architecture and the nostalgia of growing up in the South West region of the United States.
